Industry Standards

Picture
NZS8510:2017 was released in July 2017, the development of the standard has been conducted in accordance with the Standards and Accreditation Act 2015. For this reason, despite the release of the Prime Ministers Chief Science advisors Report named (Methamphetamine Contamination in Residential Properties) 29th May. NZS 8510:2017 is still considered best trade practice until appropriate amendments are made to the New Zealand Standard.

Workshops

Picture
We were extremely pleased to see so many methamphetamine testers keen to advance professional standards, image and take the opportunity to gain more insight into these topics. We plan to hold at least one "workshop" for members later this year on compliance and are negotiating suitable dates as we want IANZ to be part of this. Please contact us through the website or one of the committee with any suggested contributors to or ideas of what you want or need from workshops or other initiatives. Be part of it!
